In celebration of my 300 sales on Etsy.com (and nearly 600 artwork sales since 2005), I thought I might give something back for a change.

I will be happy to send someone my landscape painting shown above absolutely free of charge! Shipping is even on me!

Here are the painting's details:

TITLE:
Field 45
ARTIST:
Chad Wys (ME, of course!)
MEDIUM:
acrylic paint on heavy paper
DIMENSIONS:
9" tall, 12" wide
SIGNED:

Gallery value of this artwork is roughly $75.00.

The artwork is offered without matting or frame - that part is left up to the winner. I've shown it here in a frame so that you can see what it might look like.

I hope you enjoy the painting. Good luck, and thanks for stopping by!

I live with my son and daughter-in-law and grandaughter and while I of course have access to other rooms my room is the only place I have to make my own, to showcase who I am and if I won this it would certainly go a long way to making my room unique and aesthetically more pleasing as you have much talent. I do not think I would mat and frame it traditionally but rather frame it in a clip frame to let it stand alone on its own artistic merits.

I would overmat it and frame it in a clean, modern frame, then hang it with the other two painting that I purchase from you! I love your work!

I love landscapes because when I stare at them a while a story forms out of the backdrop. I would put it in a quiet part of the house where others can see it but I could use it to "get away" sometimes

    Hi Chad,
I'm in Wales so not eligible for entry. I thought I would write though and say how much I appreciate your landscapes and how in particular they resonate with the Welsh landscape. I am keen on a Welsh landscape artist called Chris Neale, check out his site and see what I mean.

If I am lucky, lucky, lucky and win this amazing work, I would hang it in my living room. It would replace a print - it's the "spotlight-dance" of my home - the first thing you see when you come in the front door and focal point of my living/dining room area.

I like landscapes because it brings an outdoor place to the indoors. It provides a "place to go". When I sit and look at a landscape, I can picture myself in the artist's vision of a location - the same time, place, and feelings.

Thank you so much for sharing your talent and for having such a generous giveaway.
